The first Kathe Kruse doll was created in 1905 and had just celebrated it's 100th year in 2005. Kathe Kruse Doll is a true German legend.Each doll and item of doll clothing is made by hand and takes from 16 to 36 hours to make. During that time, it will pass through the hands of 8 to 10 craftspeople and artists. As a result, not one doll is the same and the complicated production process never allowed the products to be mass produced. Today, Kathe Kruse Doll Studio is dedicated to combine the Kathe Kruse traditions with today's modern standards by continuing the highest quality hand craftsmanship when producing the modern doll models. The dolls that are made in the early years are now so valuable on the collector's market that prices increase from year to year.
Rainbow Puppen aims to offer aesthetic and functional high quality European toys for newborns to children of all ages. All of the toys we select are from the finest European Toy companies that have been makers of traditional toys for many years. They are experts in producing toys that are loved by children over many generations. Rainbow Puppen will never sell imitations because we support the traditional companies that have been giving so many happy memories to children through out the years. We also believe their high standard of quality can never be match by imitations. The ranges of toys we select are safe and durable and can be pass onto future generations.
We strongly believe that learning through play is most important for a child’s intellectual development.
